AW22 on film.

The last three latter halves of the year have been turbulent to say the least, and Autumn is when I feel most inspired, most energetic and enthused so feel like I have missed a big part of my creative process for some time. So it has been a bit of a celebration of sorts to get to the end of this year and reflect on a steady autumn, one that bought creativity, ideas and energy and the space to put some of it all into play. With play being the operative word. This sense of play has breathed life into me and what I’m bringing to my commercial work.

For the first time in years I’ve been hit with the appetite to shoot film again which is a sure fire sign that my creative cup is being filled. It feels good.

Here’s a humble selection of autumn and winter of 2022 on film. Shot on a simple Canon AE-1 and scanned at home on my basic scanner. A reminder for me to stop making excuses and start creating more just for the simple play of it.

Film: Portra 400.
