Thank you for booking a portrait session with me on one of my infrequent portrait days!

The venue is Studio IO, 3 Queen's Pl, Brighton BN1 4JY. It’s a bright white and airy space and will provide a gorgeous backdrop for simple but beautiful portraits.

The venue is at street level and when you arrive please just let yourself into the waiting room where you can remove your coat and touch up any makeup/hair if you want to.

I highly recommend getting to the venue at least 15 minutes before your slot so you have time to cool down/de-robe/get centred.

I may have my dog with me, please let me know if you have any fear or allergies of dogs - he’s a gentle giant but is very friendly so I understand if you would rather him not be there but if everyone likes dogs I bring along to help with shoot nerves!

In terms of what to wear I would advise to go onto Pinterest or your favourite peers website and see what they are wearing and what works well. My suggestion would be to see clear of block black as it can darken your website/page/social media and to steer clear of thin stripes. Layers work well. Also have a think how you would like to present yourself - you maybe going for a casual vibe, a very professional one or something specific. Dress to match the vibe you want to give off.

How your hair sits is very subjective to you so do make use of the mirror outside and get your hair how you like it before we shoot. Perhaps even take some self timer phone shots to double check as I can’t take responsibility for your hair not sitting how you prefer it.

Finally, please go ahead and fill out the questionnaire - it’s really important I get your answers ahead of the shoot day so please ensure you have filled this out before Weds 18th Jan.
