Portrait shoot: Brighton Ceramicist Jo Minnit.

Recently I travelled back to Brighton and had a sell out week of portrait shoots - it was lovely to work with longterm clients and also some new ones. Jo Minnitt had booked has she wanted some shots of her at work in her ceramics studio. Inspired by her gran who always wanted her tea in a ‘proper cup’ Jo makes comfortable and pleasing mugs that are made with locally dug materials.

Together we unearthed various parts of Jo’s practice that she would like photographed and we were blessed with great light on the day which illuminated Jo in her lovely studio. I hope you enjoy this insight into Jo’s practice,
