The Dunns - Orford, Suffolk.

As 2021 played out and my business recovered from Covid I started to look ahead to where I was going with everything. I knew that now I owned the van and had the ability to combine work and play it was time to increase my travel commissions. It turned out synchronicity was at play and in Suffolk Jodie was planning on contacting me, with the final cincher being me posting some Suffolk images from earlier that year.

We had such fun planning this shoot, sharing Pinterest boards and swapping ideas in the run up to the three days I spent at her holiday accommodation in Orford, Suffolk. The Dunns is a scandi, calm space with The Curious Oyster nestled behind it and we knew that the life in Orford was as important to capture as the space itself. Working alongside Silu Design we got to work bringing life to the space and living our best lives in this gorgeous village while we did our best to capture the epic magic that is a stay at The Dunns. We also had the incredible Kinship Creative along for the ride on the interiors day who styled up some tangible moments.

It was so hard to shortlist these, there was a lot of ground covered from the interiors inspired by the nature around The Dunns to Jodie’s father oyster beds on the river banks she grew up. And of course there’s the famous Pump St bakery and the traditional oysterage opposite.
