Personal Work: Some Notes From February.

February has been a rather full throttle month - I’m incredibly grateful that work has flowed in, having worked hard on getting clarity on who I am trying to reach and tweaking my marketing. I’m running through an incredible but intensive brand photographer group mentoring programme and I’m learning so much - I’m kicking myself I didn’t do something like this years ago but also thanking myself for taking the step now and all the things it is bringing to both my clients and to my business.

While evenings have been spent working through the course content, having a large young dog means I am forced to lace up my boots every day and get out in the surrounding countryside to where I live - I know, such a chore! These walks every day have been an absolute joy and the additional joy of seeing Ollie learn that his freedom is infinite after his rescue journey.

I’m learning that when you live in the Peak District, you have to lean into winter. The seasons fall hard here and it’s with deep appreciation that the months pass with things to notice. I’m sharing some images here that I’ve taken for no particular reason, just because taking them were an expression of feeling at the time. I hope you enjoy them and should you be interested in buying any as a print or card please reach out as I’m currently thinking about some printed offerings.
