Brief: impactful, modern and creative standout images of artists Sam Rudd to promote their high quality course with her and to demonstrate Sam’s process which she teaches within the course. Arteway are a leading global artist education platform and therefore images need to be A+, highly editorial and capture Sam in a way that artists will both look up to and relate to her.
An email from California landed in my inbox this summer about photographing nature artist Sam Rudd in her Manchester studio. I never take a shoot lightly but knew how important it was to get this one right - Arteway needed shots of Sam to market her course that not only showed her process but would appeal to a global audience.
Through a moodboard and brief provided by Arteway, a deep dive into her course offering and the company and collaborative ideas I created a shoot plan that could deliver a set of images that were impactful and spoke to the brief to the detail.
