Lifestyle: Inside the workshop with Curiousa.

I’m so fortunate to have such a wonderful creative community within the Derbyshire Dales. Curiousa is a coloured ceramic and glass lighting company and based at Haarlem Mill where my own studio is. Using British craft and skills, Curiousa are quite the force within the Derbyshire countryside and enlist the skills and. materials from the surrounding communities to form a process in which this high end, gorgeous lighting is made.

Over three shoots and in collaboration with Arts Derbyshire I created a story for Curiousa to celebrate the hand made element of their production. Taking place in the ceramics studio, the main workshop and Lumsdale Glass who produce the glass for lighting, we were able to record a cohesive story. The result is a new homepage for Curiousa where the images we shot shine as a strong story about this wonderful brand.
